Perhaps distinguishing same models of a card w/ different VRAM capacities could be helpful (ex. GTX 1060 3G vs 6G and RX480 4G vs. 8G) for those looking for a specific card (given that so many implementation guides are present - the user could prioritize based on the type of card he/she has).

Thank you for your feedback. VRAM amount isn't listed because:
- many of the supplied implementation guides do not disclose the VRAM
- differences in VRAM have little to no affect on the applicability of the provided installation guide

That's true, except perhaps in Windows implementation I suppose? Having less VRAM eliminates errors such as Code 12 without having to disable stuff right?

Windows error 12 against an eGPU is affected by the PCIe aperature requirements which are the same regardless of VRAM size for the same card. It tends to be 256MB+32MB for the latest Nvidia and AMD cards. Older GTX4xx-7xx (except 650/750) required 128MB+64/32+16.

Thank you for clarifying this! Never really understood the reasons for Code 12.

Some improvements made to the Implementations Guide Table:
+ now tracking macOS version, eg: macOS10.12.6, macOS10.13.1
+ GPU dropdown lists all GPUs by name
This will help answer "does xxx card work with High Sierra?" type questions.

Could we sort the table by date by default? Would be nice open the page and see the newest additions.
Suggestion:
In the eGPU implementation guides table, add a column specifying whether it's intended for a setup with acceleration for internal display, or acceleration for external display only.
I think there's quite a few of us who only want an externally-accelerated display (which is easier, I believe).

I regularly check the implementation table and the first thing I do is changing the sorting to sort by date. I just can speak for myself but I think sorting by date is better.
To do: Create my signature with system and expected eGPU configuration information to give context to my posts. I have no builds.

A key reason for the addition of an eGPU is for performance. The default sorting by performance makes this a Leaderboard listing and requires pre-filtering by eGPU port bandwidth & eGPU type which cannot be done easily by clicking a column.
On the other hand, filtering by date can be done easily by clicking the date column if that is an important parameter for now until some other mechanism is put in place to allow a default date sort.
