GeForce 1070 vs RX Vega 64

I have both a 1070 and an RX Vega 64 that I can swap around in my Venus - currently I'm running the 1070, and I have noticed that the 1070 performs great in gaming and overall responsiveness when in Boot Camp (i.e. running Overwatch in one monitor while watching a YouTube video in another monitor at 1080p). However, my RX Vega 64, which performs better on benchmarks (whether Aida 64 or Unigine Superposition and Valley) but it performs slower when just generally using Windows (same case, YouTube stutters while running a game)

Not sure if this is just related to the video cards, or if it's some driver misconfiguration issue. Any ideas what could it be that I'm missing to get the Vega 64 working appropriately, or if this is the nature of these cards? Smile

I’ve noticed stuttering issues with the windows UI while using a Vega 56 on an external monitor in clamshell mode.  It’s almost like the iGPU (Iris Plus) is wrangling the windows workload away from the eGPU.  I’ve tried changing the dynamic graphics settings in my power plan to maximum performance but it doesn’t help.  The only thing that cured it for me was to disable the Intel graphics in device manager.  Buttery smoothness after that.
