GPU advice AMD 5700XT or 5700?
Was going to wait until after Christmas to pick up an eGPU but couldn't pass up £100 off sale for the Mantiz Venus MZ-02, should hopefully arrive in time for Christmas Will be using it with my late 2018 MacBook Pro 13" i5 2.3 GHz model with 8GB RAM 512GB SSD.
On that point, i'm gravitating towards the 5700XT but i'd like advice on which one, particularly whether a two fan design is ok over a three fan option? From what i've read on the forum's the RX cards have only recently been supported in OSX but can't yet run in bootcamp? Also, has anyone got a eGPU performance comparison between a RX5700 and 5700XT?
Lastly, can anyone advise as to whether the SSD slot in the Mantiz is viable for game storage or will it eat too much bandwidth when gaming? Same for the ethernet?
can't yet run in bootcamp?
Could you share where you read this - as it is incorrect and should be changed there.

Yeah as mac editor said your info is all wrong.
plenty of Navi eGPU implementations. Good call on the mantiz. Two fans tend to be better than three on average.

may have been an old thread? Mentioned error 12?
Are there cards I should avoid due to thickness/length? Last thing i want to do is buy on that wont fit 😯
This model looks good, hardware unboxed benchmarks show solid performance and the second lowest operating volume 5700XT they've tested. It also just fits into the Mantiz! 😀
