Is there a way to make the eGPU connected through M.2 to PCIe work as a co-processor with the iGPU so everything is displayed on the screen of the laptop? I have heard of Nvidia Optimus but I am not sure if it will work on my case.

To do: Create my signature with system and expected eGPU configuration information to give context to my posts. I have no builds.

The system doesn't see an M.2 eGPU as an external connection so Nvidia Optimus/AMD XConnect don't always work to get internal display acceleration working automatically. You can use Graphics Settings in Windows 1803 and newer to assign the eGPU for each app/game.
