My setup consists of a Razer Blade Stealth, a Razer Core X Chroma, and an ASRock RX 5700 XT Taichi OC+. This particular graphics card has controllable RGB in the center fan. During initial setup, I discovered that the software ASRock provides to control the RGB did not work, showing this error when opening the software:
"Access violation at address 0074FFDA in module 'AsrPolychromeRGB.exe'. Read of address 0000000C." (I would attach the picture but it seems I can't?)
After chatting with ASRock support, updating drivers, and eventually killing the RGB altogether due to a failed RGB controller update, ASRock replaced the card. The new one is showing the same behavior, throwing the same error when opening the software.
Is this due to a limitation in an eGPU setup? Or is it possible there is some error in the Razer Core X Chroma that is keeping my PC from communicating with the RGB in the graphics card?
Other than the RGB issue, the graphics card works great.
