Should I expect any issues with SAPPHIRE Radeon RX Vega 64?

I have a 2018 13" MacBook Pro and a Razer Core X Chroma eGPU and a SAPPHIRE Radeon RX 580. All is working in macOS Mojave and Windows 10 (1903) with hot plug.

However, I want to get a bit more FPS on my 3440x1440 monitor, so I'm considering replacing the RX 580 with an SAPPHIRE Radeon RX Vega 64. I prefer to go straight to the AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT, but not sure when / if this will be supported in macOS and Windows 10 via eGPU.

I assume this should be as easy as swapping out the two cards and it should just work, right?

Does anyone know if I should expect any compatibility issues with macOS or Windows?

Are there any other things I should consider before making this move?

BTW, I realize there are multiple RX Vega 64 cards out there. I assume there isn't much difference between them and I assume the SAPPHIRE Radeon RX Vega 64 is a relatively safe choice.

Thank you.

Sapphire Radeon RX Vega 64 should be a very safe option as it was specifically outlined in the Apple official documentation.

Pending: Add my system information and expected eGPU configuration to my signature to give context to my posts
