I thought about this today. Shouldn't there be some concern with the heat that comes from my laptop hurting the screen when I use it on an external monitor and it's closed? It can get hot and it's trapping that heat between the keyboard and the screen.
I'm using a Lenovo X1 Carbon 6th Gen with a Aorus 1080.

Don’t be concerned and sleep well, the keyboard panel is not a radiator and the evacuation of heat goes through other channels. My professional laptops are used 99% of the time closed on their dock with no issues whatsoever.
