I'm curious about how much input lag is existed with Native/PCH x4 TB3 eGPU + Internal/External monitor. But I can't find anything about this. If you have info, please share. 🙂

Input lag or output lag? If you're worried about mouse or keyboard lag/freezes/disconnects, the recommendation is to use an external USB hub anyway due to a chipset issue in the current generation of TB3 enclosures.

I was talking about the input lag of eGPU to Internal/External display.

Thanks for the reply anyway 🙂

There is zero (additional) lag between eGPU and an external display. It works exactly the same way as it would on a desktop, that's why it's possible to use it even for VR which is notoriously lag-sensitive.

The internal display lag is rather academic on full TB3 connections, unless you manage to saturate the link, and even then you'll largely get frame drops, not (screen) lag per se. That's why it's not recommended to render back UHD content on the internal display (like gaming in 4K). The point I guess is that (systematic) visual lag is not really ever a question (while bandwidth can be).
