Hey eGPU forum!

Running the following setup unter Mac OS X 10.14.2:

2018 15" Mac Book Pro Touchbar with RP560X
Gigabiyte Vega 64 (GV-RXVEGA64-8GD-B)
Razer Core X
Display LG 34WK95U-W

The problem is that when I connect the MacBook to the LG Display via TB3 cable I get the full resolution of 5120x2160 BUT once I put the Core X in between via TB3 cable from Macbook to Core X and Display Port 1.4 Cable from Vega 64 to the display, I only get 2560x1080. The display is set to DisplayPort 1.4 from 1.2 so the cable is definitely fine.

While the image looks sharp, I cannot set the resolution to the full 5120x2160.  Am I missing something?

@janbanan Change display scaling in System Preferences > Displays > Resolution > Scaled > More Space. At the moment it seems to be running at Retina (2x HiDPI).

Thank you. Unfortunately I can only switch btw resolutions (e.g. 3440x1440) with the Core X connected but not the scaling. If I connect the laptop directly to the display, I have the option you refer to.
