Hi guys,

I've a issue with my setup:

MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2016, Four Thunderbolt 3 Ports)

Asus ROG XG Station 2

ASUS GeForce 1080 ti

Initial setup steps:

  1. Bootcamp Windows 10 x64
  2. Update Intel Thunderbolt Drivers
  3. Install hot-plug tool and plug Asus ROG XG Station
  4. Update firmware V25
  5. Insert eGPU and update NVIDIA drivers
  6. Windows setup is OK, everything working
  7. Boot to Mac and run script & restart - everything working on Mac

Now, problem:

  1. Windows setup: not working anymore. After I'm plugging eGPU under bootcamp Hot Plug tool detecting enclosure, but status is "No graphic card detected".

Any suggestions on what should be done to make Windows setup working again ?

The automate-eGPU.sh -a mode is not supported on Macs released after 2015.

You should use apple_set_os.efi and the correct TB3 port.

This! It is working now, thank you.

Question: I have to use apple_set_os.efi method always? It is not a problem to connect USB-Stick, but just in case...

Is there a resource that shows you which TB3 port is correct for your MBP? (2016 15" MBP)
