Hi all,
Currently using an R9 Fury with macOS 10.14.2 Mojave inside a Mantiz Venus connected to a 15" tMBP, which I set up using purge-wrangler.sh. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to get audio over DisplayPort to work. I can see the PCI-e audio device in System Profiler, but it says there's no driver installed, and it doesn't show up in Audio MIDI or System Preferences. **Is there some kext I'm missing to get audio working on older AMD cards?** Something from the Hackintosh community maybe? Am I just SOL?
Thanks!

.@jmy1000 You can try the instructions from Hackintosh community. https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/324635-applehda-hdmi-audio/

@itsage No luck, installed Lilu, WhateverGreen, and AppleALC all to no avail. I'll post there and see if they can help though maybe.

.The requirements for getting audio over eGPU might be slightly different. Investigating existing support might help (Ex. AppleGFXHDA).

@mac_editor Sorry, I'm not entirely sure what you mean. Like I should see if there's a kext that's designed for eGPUs?
