EGPU DETECTED BUT NOT WORKING ?
I managed to get everything running smoothly, EGPU connected and MacOs is detecting it with its proper name and features.
When I try to use it for previews in Adobe After Effects it seems to recognize it but I'm not sure if it's using it.
And Also It seems that it's not working with the games and benchmark software... I don't know what is happening here.
Is there any specific way of switching which card Mac uses as default or do I still have some kind of an issue with the installment?
My setup is:
Late 2013 MacBook Pro
Evga GTX 1060 6GB
If anyone has any idea about what is going on and have any advice I would be pleased to hear its so frustrating to get it to this point and not able to use it :D:D
I have exactly same problem, my eGPU is recognized via macbook but external display which is connected into egpu is not working at all. Did anyone find solution for this please? Thanks

I have the working aml by using the Intel method, I find that weird being that I have an amd processor but it worked perfectly, my laptop is functioning and I have the large memory, the problem now is that my GPU says it's detected and the device is working correctly but I can't open the Nvidia control panel, meaning I can't set the gpu as the high performance GPU and I can't use it yet, is this because of how I connect my GPU "I need to put my PC in sleep mode to swap out the wifi card with the eGPU cable" and is there a way to fix this?
