Hi All,

I used this script:  https://github.com/learex/macOS-eGPU/tree/master#macos-egpush

And at some point it worked for once - however, the next time I booted, it stopped working. The eGPU doesn't get recogniced - I do get power through the TB3 cable but the Gaming box stays silent, no fan and no lights - the external monitor stays blank.

This is what I get now when I execute the script "macOS-eGPU.sh (1.6)":

Nothing has been changed.

At the point "NVIDIA eGPU enabler" it says "[skip, incompatible]" - I guess thats the problem?
Anyone knows how to solve that?

Thanks a lot,

Nick

Just curious with people having issues of eGPU not being detected.

Did at some point the eGPU was detected and working but you applied a macOS update with the eGPU connected to the machine.
Then after update and reboot, the eGPU is not detected?

It is working again - I just figured out, that for some reason the Aorus Gaming Box has sometimes the problem, that it is not reacting (not fan, no sound, nothing) - to solve this, the power plugs has to be unplugged and you have to wait at least for 2 minutes, maybe 5 to be on the save side. Then you reconnect the power and it gets recognized again.

Yup I had this issue after updating to Mojave, but I wiped my Mac and downgraded and still have an issue with detecting my EGpu :/

Pending: Add my system information and expected eGPU configuration to my signature to give context to my posts
