MPB15-2018 2.6Ghz i7, Radeon Pro560x, Mojave 10.14.5 Beta (18F127a)
Razer Core X, Radeon VII

Every time my Mac goes to sleep the gpu's fans go to max output and stay there until either the Mac is woken up or the enclosure is turned off. Anybody else seeing this behavior?

Solved, seemingly. Switched from using HDMI to using a DisplayPort cable. So far no problems.

This is a known issue with the Radeon VII itself. When the Thunderbolt connection between the eGPU to the host computer is suspended, the fans would run full speed. I heard from AMD XConnect team and they are aware of the issue. They said it's currently a limitation in the board design but didn't elaborate.
