Final Cut Pro X (FCP) playback on eGPU performance dropped after BigSur 11.01 to 11.1 upgrade

Hi experts,

I'm using a Sapphire GearBox with RX 5700 XT on an iMac 4K 2017. It worked well with Big Sur 11.01 but after the update to 11.1 the eGPU playback performance in FCPX went down. The playback of the timeline with 360 footage is lagging. Now it is better even with the internal GPU (Radeon 560). Other tests (CL!ng, Geekbench) show the right scores.

That's how it looks during playback:

I don't have any idea how to solve this 🙁 Any help is appreciated.

Thanks, Peter

Today I have made another tests. I have tested my eGPU with my 13 Inch, 2017 MacBook Pro with macOS 10.15.7 and FCPX 10.4.8

Same result. Poor playback performance on the eGPU, it was almost the same as the built in Intel Iris.

A week ago it was amazing, now it is a very expensive and noisy brick. I can't solve this mystery.
