We are looking to install a FirePro W9100 in an eGPU enclosure to connect to a high-spec MacBook Pro. Is the FirePro line supported under macOS High Sierra?

To do: Create my signature with system and expected eGPU configuration information to give context to my posts. I have no builds.

I've seen the PCI ID for WX 9100 in macOS High Sierra. Radeon Vega Frontier Edition has native support so it's very likely WX 9100 works as well.

W9100 is very different from WX9100.

W9100 is based on Hawaii chip (directly related to R9-290/R9-390 gaming GPUs)

WX9100 is based on Vega (directly related to Vega RX64)
