I have this strange behaviour after updating my Mac mini to the latest 10.14.6.

The gpu-controller driver is not loaded up correctly.

Previously on 10.14.5, my GPU RX560 was detected successfully and used without any issue.

I am using Goalque's automate-eGPU EFI 1.0.5, booting off from USB.

When I connect the same eGPU to my 2013 Macbook Air (10.14.5) , RX560 is detected successfully and I can use it without any issue.

Any advice would be much appreciated?

Thanks.

mac mini PCI (no gpu controller)

macbook air PCI (all working well - gpu detected)

Rebuild Kext cache using Terminal.
