Followed  https://github.com/learex/macOS-eGPU/tree/master#macos-egpush and tried automate-eGPU-EFI-v.1.0.4, I got black screen on log in, and if plug in the eGPU before log in, I can see the eGPU in System Info as "NVIDIA Chip Model" with 256MB VRAM, and I can not see the eGPU like Davinci Resolve at all.

The box is sonnet 650. I used it last year on MBP 2017 TB, it was working fine.

Please help

Soon I will add my system & eGPU details or a build link to this my signature to give context to my posts

I had the same problem. I found only one solution. I downgraded my system to 10.13.3. I have 2 Sonnet box with 2 gtx 1080ti and they are work perfectly.

Or switch to Radeon, which dien’t require third party drivers and hack. Vega 56 beats 1070, Vega 64 beats 1080. 1080ti is still little better but I will not recommend Nvidia to anyone with its bugged drivers and lack of official support
