I downgraded to Sierra from High Sierra as I am using a GTX 1060 6gb card and ran automate-epgu.  I am using apple thunderbolt3 adapter and OWC 1 meter thunderbolt2 cable.

Heaven score on medium without eGPU - 249     4.8fps - 18fps

Heaven score on medium with eGPU - 2462      33fps - 172fps

I have more testing to conduct but early results look good.  I feel like the egpu gives the macbook pro another year or two of relevancy before upgrading.

I got my Mantiz Venus running on my 15" late 2013 MBP Iris Pro (no dGPU, bootcamp, windows 10, haven't bothered in MacOS).

The GPU was initially unrecognized in Windows. Hot plugging the eGPU while booted in MacOS caused my machine to spontaneously reboot into my Windows partition (this is weird, right?), where the GPU was then recognized. I was able to install drivers after that.

Heaven benchmark on all highest presets, EVGA 1080 Ti SC: scores 3152, 125 FPS.

To do: Create my signature with system and expected eGPU configuration information to give context to my posts. I have no builds.
