Hello everyone. I am testing certain builds. This is my setup:
Macbook pro 2018 15" + Razer Core X + Sapphire Radeon Vega 64 (SAPPHIRE Radeon RX Vega 64 DirectX 12 21275-03-20G 8GB 2048-Bit HBM2 PCI Express 3.0 CrossFireX Support Video Card)
I am getting only 135,000 Open CL from Geekbench. I looked at the results browser and that is lower than the Vega 56, and very close to the RX 580!
I'm not using any external monitor, this is just plug and play on OS X Mojave. Why am I getting such a low result? Also, when I play world of warcraft I never seem to go above 40-45 fps in 4K.
Anyone ran into the same issue as me? Thank you!

FYI this is what is giving me the 135,000 score (OPen CL). (I know the vega is working because my internal 560x gets only 59,000)

You are loosing performance from not having the egpu hooked up to an external monitor... it is having to loop back through the TB3 to the internal display, try it again with it hooked directly from the egpu to a monitor and I’m sure you’ll see a significant increase
Mac Mini late 2018, i7, 512gb ssd, 32gb ram, Sonnet egfx 550w, amd Vega 56
How are you connecting the eGPU and LG 4K monitor atm? Try connecting the eGPU and LG 4K in opposing Thunderbolt 3/USB-C ports as well as the same side. Run the tests again to see if one configuration performs better.
