So after running this setup for a week now, I've unfortunately had some hiccups.

On 3-4 occasions, I've gotten green screens and a Kernel Panic.

This is 10.15.5.

Not sure how to approach this stability issue.

To do: Create my signature with system and expected eGPU configuration information to give context to my posts. I have no builds.

@ryan_ruel

That sounds like the wake-from-sleep bug plaguing Catalina for awhile.

Adjust the settings under Energy Saver to not put the Mini to sleep.

(Turn off your displays manually, or let the screen saver run, when you step away from your machine)

@mini-i5, geeze, Catalina seems like a real winner for eGpu's. Roll

@ryan_ruel,

Yeah, on Catalina the Sleep option shouldn’t be used with an eGPU attached, because... bad things will happen. 🤦‍♂️
