My hardware are

- Razer Core X Chroma

- MacBook Pro 2018 15” 560X dGPU

- Zotac 1070 ti Mini

- Thunderbolt display

First after setting up, Notification Center start installing VGA adaptor, installed successfully.

Went to device manager it shows Radeon 560x and Microsoft basic render.

Disabled Radeon and installed NVIDIA driver, did a restart everything was working fine.

Started Mafia 3 to see how it works, the game run smoothly till my Zotac start revving hard then NVIDIA control center shows that the 1070ti was disconnected.

Tried replugging the Thunderbolt cable, tried Razer method of disconnect everything and wait for 30 seconds, tried taking and putting the graphic card back into the Razer Core X. None of this allow me to detect the graphic card again. Sent the card back to the seller tested and it’s still working. Windows still detect the eGPU however just does not detect the GPU that is plugged in.

Hope that I could find an answer here as I can’t seem to find any form of help from the internet.

Download and run DDU to remove graphics drivers as well as PCIe root port association then install GeForce version 431.

@itsage, not sure about the PCIe root port association. Not very well versed in technology. Hope you can explain more. Sorry.
