Hello, after been reading the forum for so much I decided to build this setup.

MacBook Pro 13" 2018 4 cores i5, 8gb ram, 512 SSD, 10.14.1 macOS version.
Sonnet 550
RX 580 Gigabyte 8GB
Monitor: AOC 24V2Q - IPS, 75 hz and freesync.

I think it will be plug&play on macOS without major problem.

Im wondering about if it will work as a plug&play on bootcamp.

I didn't found any setup like this.

Any advices? not sure if I have to do anything more that just connect it and launch windows, wait for been detected and update rx 580 drivers, my idea is to play on external monitor and macbook monitor too.

Looking forward for your updates due to the same reason, no such builds recorded so far.
Only difference is the eGPU case.

Waiting for my gear to arrive:

Laptop:           MBP 13" Mid-2018 TouchBar i5 4 core, 16 gb / 1 tb
OS(s):              Mojave + Bootcamp Win 10
Monitor:         Samsung CJ791 (TB3)
eGPU case:    Razer Core X
eGPU card:    RX Vega 64

*** Edit: Decided to upgrade to Vega 64 instead of RX 580
