Starting a thread for a new beta version, per tradition. Would appreciate developers to test the current eGPU solutions on this new build and share their experience. At this time, macOS 10.13.5 is not available publicly, if people were wondering.

Thanks for starting this.
I had posted a followup to an older 10.13.5 thread where @fr34k had helped me.
I think he has to update the script with the build.  I'm getting "You use the old wrangler patch." error.

@rolfl
thanks for the update.

I gave the purge-wrangler a couple of goes...  It looks like I have the TB1/2 working but I can't seem to install or get the Vega card and drivers up and running?

After TB1/2, I ran "bash <(curl -s https://vulgo.github.io/webdriver) 387.10.10.10.30.107", does this look right?

thanks.

@ekohn00 Vega cards are natively supported on macOS High Sierra. The command above would install NVIDIA web drivers. What's the issue you're facing exactly?

My bad.  It’s late.  And definitely a Nvidia card.  Not Vega.

@jefniro, can I ask - are you using a NVIDIA card?  If so what steps did you take to get it working.
I went from not seen to crashing non stop.  ugh.

Definitely 10.13.5 contains something that will spoil Monday keynote, stripped by 10.13.6 but inside 10.13.5 final. I'm not sure if I will install 10.13.6 beta since I want to wait 10.13.5 to come back to stable releases (even if these betas are running great)

This seems to fix the eGPU performance drop I noticed on the 2016 15” Pro in this thread:
