Bring peace to your computing life: stop trying to understand Apple.
I have a 2012 Mac, If I update to the new 10.13.4 will that mess up building an eGPU that is not supported by apple.
From what I understand, the real 10.13.4 version will prevent pre-TB3 Macs from using ANY eGPU, supported by Apple or nor.
I have a Macbook Pro Late 2013. Some time ago I had the Akitio Thunderbolt 2 with GTX 970 on the run. Now I want to buy Sonnet eGFX Breakaway Box with Rx 580, because I want to grow a new Macbook with Thunderbolt 3 later. Will the configuration work with my current Macbook?
Thank you for your help and great praise for your work.
