Guys, my Macbook Pro isn't crashing anymore when I have the eGPU active and come back from the sleep. I thought this was still an issue that would only be solved on High Sierra. I faced it on my 2015 MBP + Akitio Thunder2, but now on Mantiz Venus + 2017 MBP 15` its solved. Is this old news?

For me it always was a hit and miss. With mit TB1 MacBook Pro and the AKiTiO Thunder2 Box running a GTX 750Ti sometimes it worked, while sometimes I woke my MacBook just to see it had rebooted.

same problem about awaking system from sleeping using the NVDAE GPU kext v2 on 10.13.1.

I have yet to list my system & eGPU hardware or link a build guide in my signature. I will do so soon to give context to my posts.

While plugged into active eGPU, and the Macbook goes to sleep, my external display will not turn on unless I log out, unplug the Thunderbolt 3 cable, and then plug back in.
