I had my 2011 iMac up and running with the thunder2 + gtx1060 this morning. ran the script as per instructions and it was great.

I shutdown and came back later, now with the eGPU plugged in via thunderbolt, it goes into an endless reboot cycle (start up bar, restart "there was an error" repeat)

If the mac is running and I plug in the thunderbolt it insta-reboots.

Any thoughts?

Okay, went in and uninstalled as many nvidia/geforce preferences I could find. No more boot loop.

I've rerun the script, driver manager is installed, but it doesn't see the 1060. Not sure what to do next.

Something is wrong: "File Doesn’t Exist, Will Create: /System/Library/Extensions/IONDRVSupport.kext/Info.plist"

Have you modified kext files manually at some point?

When I was getting the boot-loop panics I deleted the nvidia & geforce ones.

You should never touch kext files manually, otherwise the script stops working. I recommend macOS 10.12.4 reinstallation from the recovery. Your iMac is quite old. 2011 Mac mini with Radeon is not supported, and you have HD 6970M which might cause problems.

Your system is eGPU enabled and Nvidia web driver is up to date.

Okay, sweet. Looking good on this end. I'm getting that boot-loop again though.

Ah ha!!

Uninstalled again nvidia manager

booted up in safe mode & Re-ran script.

Rebooted again (and like 3 more times to be sure)

Success!
