Been trying all day yesterday to get this to work.
Macbook Pro sees the Sonnet, but no NVIDA card. Even though the drivers did get installed via one of the scripts that I'm assume saw the GTX.

Had to re-install Mac OSX at one point, as it refused to boot after one of the scripts.

What to do?

Where are you seeing the No ECC Device Found error?  If it's a GTX 1080, I might presume that to be normal as I don't believe ECC memory is part of the GTX platform of cards including the Titan X that I am using and see ECC Not Supported on the ECC tab of the NVidia Driver Manager.  The card still works though.  The card shows up in System Information --> Graphics/Displays?

ECC memory is part of the NVidia's professional workstation Quadro series of cards I believe though.

But still nothing on the monitor plugged into it

Logout (not restart) and log back in (leaving the monitor connected) does it change?

I am trying the same today. I have a MBP late 2016 13 inch running the High Sierra 10.13.6 and an Akitio Node Pro with Nvidia GTX 1080 eGPU. I have been trying all day to recognize my Nvidia card but to no avail. I have been using this thread recently but nothing seems to work. https://github.com/learex/macOS-eGPU/tree/master#macos-egpush

What script did you use to get your GTX to be recognized on your mac? I am having an issue with my Nvidia GTX 1080 not being recognized but it recognizes the Akitio Node on the 10.13.6.

I used this one.

Working on downgrading from 10-13-6 to see if that helps
