Sapphire Pulse RX 580 8GB
Cables: Apple Thunderbolt 3 to Thunderbolt 2 adapter
SIP disabled, Purge-wrangler installed
Running purge with the gpu doesn't detect a gpu, re-seated the gpu twice in the socket. both with the gpu on, and starting it during install
Installed it anyway..
My issue, is that it's not detecting.. and if I go to the thunderbolt section of about this mac/devices it does read out the box is connected but the link state seems to be 0x2. current link width 0x1
Tried a bunch of stuff, and I'm mystified at what's going on.. any ideas?
