Now that High Sierra is released, can anybody with a compatible AMD card confirm if Internal Display Acceleration is supported yet?

Was thinking about picking up an eGPU and AMD RX 580 next week but just wanted to confirm if anybody has Internal Display acceleration working without any hacks?  If not, looks like I'll be waiting until Spring 2018.  Thanks!

You can accellerate  internal with Metal and OpenCL. OpenGL and GUI only works in external display.

Are we talking about an iMac? Otherwise there little to no sense to have an eGPU and don't use an external display. If/when internal display will be accelerated there will be very high performance drop due to bandwidth.

PS: this has been asked many times
