Unigine Valley Benchmark comparison, for Mac and Windows, Radeon and nVidia, OpenGL and Directx which clearly show, that while Radeon GPUs are performing about equal in Windows and Macosx, nVidia GPUs are much worse in MacOSX.
It's a pity there is no real support for nVidia in MacOSX, in mojave there will never be?!

Here are the benchmarks for Unigine Valley, 1080 Extreme HD, external Monitor: It is quite obvious the "downfall" of the nVidia Benchmark for MacOSX:

AMD Radeon Pro 560X  nVidia Geforce GTX 1080 Ti
Windows (DirectX11)

Windows (OpenGL)

MacOSX (OpenGL)

Hardware:
-15-inch Macbook Pro 2018
-Asus XG Station Pro
-EVGA Geforce GTX 1080Ti SC2
