Hello,

I'm running a Mac mini (2018) with latest Mojave OS attached to the Omen Accelerator. The setup works beautifully (have 2 4K monitors attached via DisplayPort). The only issue  is...

ISSUE:
I'm running into is the after the Mac goes into sleep for some period of time the Omen will not come out of sleep after keyboard press or mouse move. I need to blindly put my password and then replug the Omen thunderbolt cable to get it recognized again.

The odd thing is this is only a problem after being sleep for a long time, like overnight. If Mac goes sleep for couple minutes or an hour or so, the Omen will wake up after mouse/key press.

Any ideas? The Omen is running the 25.25 firmware.

Cheers!

@kunfuchopsticks I have a similar issue...with my old macbook pro 2017 no-touchbar the enclosure worked pretty stable...but now with the macbook pro 2019 I have to plug and unplug the tb3 cable several times until the new hardware is recognized by MacOS or Windows 10...Have you been able to solve the issue?

It seems to be really TWO 2 issues, one with the Mac and (unfortunately) another with the Omen.

1. You need to disable Filevault encryption according to footnote 1 here: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT208544
The encryption is causing HDMI to not work either if you plug it to the Mac mini after boot.

2. with 1. fixed, the issue still is it seems the Omen goes into some kind of deep sleep and is unable to come out of it by Mac waking up. SO I have to use HDMI first, then get to desktop then plug Omen into the Mac mini.
