@nando4, Thanks a lot, your suggestions worked.
(now it's working flawlessly in windows 10 both testing mode, and also done the substitution for normal mode since softwares were fighting me in testing mode).
Thanks also to the community that shared in this forum, it's just an amazing resource.

@dzero, good to hear of your success. Your installation steps have been transferred into the following build guide. Consider adding photos and some benchmarks to finish it off.

Reading here your experiences seems that XFX AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT (RX-69XTAQFD) XFX Speedster SWFT 319 works fine as eGPU on macOS right? With a big eGPU like Razer Core X. I've seen some implementation here.
Can you confirm master? 🙂

@ikir, I tested a XFX Speedster MERC319 AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT which is slightly different. That card has an USB-C output. It worked great in macOS. I believe the cooler design and dimensions are very much the same on both cards so fitment with eGPU enclosures may require some modifications. When I installed the MERC319 RX 6900 XT inside Mantiz Saturn Pro, I had to remove a small bracket.
The main thing to check for software compatibility is the card ID. Device ID 1002 73BF is recognized in macOS and will work right away.

I have read all the posts in this thread but still do not have a clear answer that
"does macos support HDMI 2.1 on rx 6600/6800/6900 that navi 2x GPUs already work in the lastest macos"?
I wish to drive my LG C1 OLED (4k 120hz 444 hdr) on macOS, any solutions? Thanks!

.Is there still no 6700 support in the newest macOS?

I just got GIGABYTE AORUS RX 6900 XT MASTER.and am trying to start it with Razer Core X (needed an 8-pin to 16-pin). However, when I plug in Thunderbolt, the eGPU icon shows for a few seconds, then the screen blinks, and the eGPU icon desapears.
Doublechecked, GPU has XTX core, coolers are running, but nothing happens.
What do you guys think?
Thanks!
