Hmm - no matter what I do it's causing a panic/crash.

Anyone with knowledge of these reports kind enough to have a look and give me a hint as to what might be the issue?
Many thanks!

Hello.

I am really new to this and would like to up the performance of my Macbook Pro as it's having a really hard time rendering videos.

Specs:
MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2014)
2.2 GHz Intel Core i7
16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
Intel Iris Pro 1536 MB

Running at : MacOS Mojave 10.14.2 (18C54)

I'd like to ask if:
1. Is it possible for me to run this: Sonnet eGFX Breakaway Box w/ AMD Radeon RX 580 8 GB
2. If so, what are the steps necessary to take to get it going?

Thank you for any response. I know this community is very constructive. Cheers!

Hi!
May I Ask a question

Im now currently with
macbook pro late 2016 15” “10.12.6”
with a  Aorus gaming box  1080
with external monitor

Will everything working better on 10.13?
or stay on 10.12.6 is better?

I know that Mojave is not supported yet with Nvidia Cards

Is it supported to the latest High Sierra Patch?
thanks!

@yxebsqme Not sure what the issue is, but older cards are not guaranteed to be supported as macOS is updated. Consider trying older builds or High Sierra.

@sernie Please read the documentation in it's entirety.

@magicpi Since your Mac has an AMD dGPU and you're using NVIDIA dGPU, I'd say that if you can, stay on Sierra. High Sierra will work, but you may encounter some quirks. The quirks are mentioned in the hardware chart in OP.

My 2015 Macbook Pro Retina only has 2 TB2 ports.

In the purge-wrangler script menu, I only find either way of activating NVIDA or AMD at a time: If I patched NVIDA, I can not patch AMD for example.
Is there any way to have 2 EGPUs of NVIDIA and AMD each to be activated?

THANKS!

SO I think I'll Stay on Sierra before anything promising in higher system

Hi folks!
Has anyone tried RTX 2080ti via eGPU on High Sierra? Is it fully functional?
(for me CUDA cores only needed for renderer 🙂

@lqd Likely there won't be RTX drivers for High Sierra. When Nvidia releases web drivers for macOS (hopefully with RTX support), they will be 10.14.x and newer.

@itsage Thanks! Then, I don't want to be skeptical, but it seems like never more. 🙄
