Thunderbolt 4 won't be faster...

@itsage, well that's interesting. So Thunderbolt 3 doesn't necessarily have a 22 Gbps limit. You got 23.5 Gbps. So Thunderbolt 4 probably doesn't have a bandwidth improvement, except that the computers that it's used in will be newer and maybe more efficient/faster because of the CPU etc.

@joevt, i am guessing that thunderbolt 4 will have dynamic bandwidth and allow full 32gbps transfer speed instead 22gbps? Kinda screwed now after investing so much into thunderbolt 3

 

 

To do: Create my signature with system and expected eGPU configuration information to give context to my posts. I have no builds.
