hi folks,

I just bought a Blackmagic eGPU Thunderbolt 3 Radeon Pro 580 which I want to use on my macbook pro 13" model 2018 and premiere cc.

unfortunately, I can´t really feel a speed increase in editing and rendering.
in the export settings I even can´t choose the egpu instead of software rendering.
(I have changed the preference for the eGPU in the software icon information.)

does anyone have a tip how to setup the egpu?

thanks a lot!

I've got a macbook 15 2018 core i9 connected to the blackmagic egpu pro. I did what you did. when I go into activity monitor and choose windows gpu history, it shows me my three graphic cards (you should see just two).  When I go into any timeline and quickly scrub back and forth, I can see the egpu jump up and do work.
