My work (construction type stuff) requires me to travel extensively; I've been to every state in the continental US. I mostly travel by car and often move to new hotels/jobs every couple of days.

When I first started this job I actually brought a full sized desktop gaming computer with me, but it just became too much of a burden, so I went with no computer for some time.

Recently I finally purchased an ultrabook (Dell XPS 13 9370), after becoming tired of using my phone to do paperwork, spreadsheets, etc. I'm pretty happy with this laptop, and I'm considering buying a compact eGPU to go along with it to get back into PC gaming on the go.

I've found this website very helpful in my consideration of eGPUs, so I thought I'd create an account.

Thanks! I've been looking at some used Lenovo Graphics docks which sometimes seem to be available for decent prices, but I haven't committed to going with something limited to just a GTX 1050. The size/price is pretty attractive though.

Alternatively, the Sonnet Pucks and VisionTek Mini are of interest.
