Hi everyone, I'm from spain and I have an Asus n56jn i7 4710HQ turbo 3.5Ghz 8gb ddr3 1600mhz and 840m 2gb . I have been interested in eGpu because y play very graphic demanding games. Its possible to do eGpu to my pc? Its very difficult to make 10xx series cards work? Because i was thinking in a 6gb gtx 1060 . Pls help me

To do: Create my signature with system and expected eGPU configuration information to give context to my posts. I have no builds.

Were you able to get it working? I have the same model Asus and I'm trying to figure it out

Curious if you guys have had any luck with your Asus n56jn laptops?  Looking at teardown guides the WLAN card looks like a standard mPCIe half-height piece, and that port is a bit obstructed with framing so a dremel saw should expose enough to tap those PCIe lanes?

I know this topic is old, and would love to encourage wherever possible.
