I noticed that titles that allow for DLSS perform much better on my setup (which is bottlenecked by the unoptimized Intel 8th/9th Gen Bios).

Is this because the low DLSS resolution does not use so much bandwith?

Does that mean, that improvements in DLSS will help eGPU setups to generally perform faster?!

Thank you for your replies!

Best regards

I think it does have a small impact on TB3 bandwidth as it can theoretically use lower quality assets perhaps. The larger reason is that DLSS improves performance greatly in general as the internal rendering is lower resolution. This performance improvement sees huge gains even over PCIe x16 on desktop systems.
