EGPU and Focusrite 2i2 causing in game lag

I'm using a 2018 Mac mini with Bootcamp, a device known for having difficulty powering lots of devices using it's ports. My EGPU works great, but has issues when using discord with my friends. When I'm in a call / connected to voice, my game experiences stutter, which appears like short massive framedrops, though according to MSI Afterburner, is not affecting my frame data. Still getting 200 FPS in Rocket League during the stutter.

When I unplug my SM7B microphone from my Scarlett 2i2 interface, the frame drops are immediately resolved, meaning when my mic is connected, maybe it's drawing extra power and taking it from the EGPU? Or something else that I have no idea about.. but it's frustrating that the sound works perfectly, but when I add a microphone (working perfectly otherwise for professional audio purposes), there's such a noticeable degradation in video quality.

In Discord settings I have disabled Hardware Acceleration, which is the expected fix for something like this.

To do: Create my signature with system and expected eGPU configuration information to give context to my posts. I have no builds.

The Mini has (2) separate TB3 buses. So plug it into the other bus.
