Issues only with some games (AMD eGPU + Mac mini 2018)

Hi! So here's my issue. I finally got my Sonnet eGFX Breakaway Puck (RX 570) working on my new Mac mini through Boot Camp (thanks!)

I know it works because Fortnite runs soooo smooth, which was impossible with iGPU.

The issue happens with the other game I play: Pro Evolution Soccer 2019 (Steam). It never reaches 30fps on gameplay, no matter what graphics config I use. I tried with another eGPU (1070 aorus gaming box) and it runs like butter, but really really smooth on high graphics.

I already tried specifically force the game to use eGPU through Display Settings - Advanced, didn't work.

BTW I do have the HDMI connected to the eGPU directly (otherwise it doesn't work).

Any thoughts on this?

Thank you in advance

To do: Create my signature with system and expected eGPU configuration information to give context to my posts. I have no builds.

@pablopunk could it be that you have AMD Chill enabled. You should use MSI Afterburner with RTSS to check for gpu statistics, so you have a clear picture of what is going on.
