The power requirements highlighted by the power connector arrangement are somewhat disappointing. No word on it being the 56 or the 64 version of the chip, but I doubt it is the latter.

To do: Create my signature with system and expected eGPU configuration information to give context to my posts. I have no builds.

I can't share any photos but this RX Vega 56 Nano was running inside a mini eGPU enclosure that's not much larger. It was using an external power adapter. I saw it at CES 2018. Unfortunately the current price hike of GPUs make it very challenging to bring this thing to the market from what I heard. For example, Sonnet is selling the Breakaway Box 650 + RX Vega 64 bundle for $1,299. Therefore any Vega eGPU would be at least $1,000 atm.
