Dell XPS 15 9500 reboots
I'm completely out of ideas, I've been through a bunch of similar posts about laptops freezing and stuff and tried to make changes to the Power State Link Management, problem is Dell seem to take over the power management and the registry settings I got from here: https://egpu.io/forums/builds/2019-15-dell-precision-5540-quadro-t2000-9th8ch-rtx-2080-ti-32gbps-razer-core-x-chroma-win10/ don't seem to survive a reboot. Of course I'm not 100% sure this is even a cause.
Basically, under light load at a random time, the stuff doesn't freeze, it just goes into a reboot cycle and Windows event manager just says that the reboot was unexpected. Does this sound in line with Link Management, or something else?
Hmm, this time it looks like Link Management has stuck for now at least and the laptop hasn't cycled, so maybe it is just that and I need to figure out how to ensure Dell doesn't just stomp on the settings. Looking good so far.
