Hey there I’m just wondering about getting the best performance out of my 3060ti in a Razer core X

My current laptop is a Dell XPS 17 9700 with a 2060 Max Q and i7 10750h CPU. I was gaming on it but it didn’t give me the performance I was hoping for so I decided to get an EGPu

My monitor I will be playing on is a Dell S3220DGF

My EGPu setup is a razer core X with a 3060ti

I was playing warzone on my built in GPU with my external monitor and was having frame rate issues playing 1440p at low everything so I switched to my EGPu and am noticing almost no performance gains at all ( I can still barely run the game at low settings and I’m dipping down to 25-30FPS) I am noticing that my CPU is heating up to 80-90C and the usage is up to 90% but my GPU is at like 20% usage.
I did 3D mark with the EGPu and here are my results

Graphics score: 8023

cpu score: 6225

timespy score: 7689

@hickbran, Check the cooling system of your laptop if this behavior is on both dGPU and eGPU. Also most H-CPU systems route their Thunderbolt 3 connection through the PCH chip and they don't always have sufficient cooling and optimization.
