I am having trouble with the fan-speed of my GPU. I do not think it is specific to my set-up, but I will describe my setup anyway just in case.
I have an Asus ROG Station 2, which I previously connected to a Titan XP and then multiple Windows 10 laptops with 8th gen Intel processors. No issues on any of the combinations.
Then one day, I swapped out the Titan XP and put in an Asus Rog Strix GTX 1660ti. Everything else unchanged. Now when I turn on the Asus Rog Station 2, but before I turn on my laptop, the Asus ROG Strix GTX 1660ti GPU fans go crazy at full speed. Very loud. I don't know for how long but certainly several minutes before I turn off the Asus Rog Station 2.
The same occurs when I shutdown my laptop. Once the laptop is powered down, the fans go crazy at full speed until I turn off the Asus Rog Station 2.
Anyone know the cause or cure?
