Hello,

i use my eGPU Setup since 2015 with PE4C 2.1. Still Working without Problem with my Acer 5750G. 6 Years.....

So i updated my Notebook today from 8GB RAM to 16GB RAM and got the problem with TOLUD.

Did the Intel Method, while compiling the .aml one Error appeared, fixed it and tried the registry method with Testsign Mode ON. It´s working. But the watermark of testsign mode was ugly so i used "Universal Watermark Disabler" to remove it. I´m fine now. Still using eGPU Setup 1.3x.

If i Microsoft brings new big update and i update my Windows 10, will the registry mod still work or i need to do it again?

@itsage, what would be the step to take if the .aml file for my computer isn't listed at the media fire link?

@charlie_1, If you have a 2017 MacBook Pro, the firmware already has a Large Memory allocation. You can manually create an AML for DSDT override but I don't think it makes a difference.

Hi, I'm trying to turn off testing mode, but the audio stops working whenever it is off. When I turn it back on, it works? Do you know how to work it to have audio work as well as testing mode off?

Hello, my system worked in test mode, but when I leave test mode, the audio stops again, would I be able to make the audio work without having to leave the system in test mode? does test mode limit the system or function normally as if it were not in test mode?

Download the Clover ISO file and install it by extracting with 7-zip (64-bit only) the clover.tar.lzma->clover.tar->clover.pkg->\EFI folder to s:\EFI. Be sure to use the the 7-zip interface to extract to s: drive as Windows explorer refuses to allow viewing of the s: EFI volume.

- Copy your dsdt-modified.aml file as dsdt.aml to s:\EFI\CLOVER\ACPI\Windows, the directory Clover uses to preload it. If your source dsdt-modified.aml file is not in c:\dsdt then use this workaround to copy-and-paste it. Locate your dsdt-modified.aml file with Explorer, right-click, rename to dsdt.aml, right-click, copy. Then hit CTRL+ALT+DEL, task manager, File->New task. Explore the s:\EFI\CLOVER\ACPI\WINDOWS directory and paste it there.

Hello, I'm only new to this website, and I am troubleshooting a MacbookPro 2012-ish with Windows 10 and the audio problem. So far, I was able to follow the instructions on this guide, up to this point. Can anyone guide me about these two steps that involves Clover ISO? I got a bit confused after extracting the clover.tar since I don't see any files named clover.pkg after. Thank you for taking the time to read this!

@charles_turner, I also ran with the  issue of the ACPI folder not present in the extract EFI folder from Clover. How did you address this problem? Can you help me?

Hi, so I recently received my EXP GDC Beast 8.5c and I'm stuck at this step. I get the following error and the modified .aml File is exactly the same size as the original and I'm not sure what to do. If anyone can assist, it would be greatly appreciated thanks.

"dsdt-modified.asl:

2057: Return(AR00())
^***
dsdt-modified.asl(2057): error: AR00 is not a method"
