Higher CPU usage and lower FPS in Vulkan vs OpenGL
Vulkan is supposed to ease the load on CPU and work more on the GPU to gain more FPS. But on Doom 2016 I'm getting low GPU usage and really high CPU usage (100% basically on all cores) to reach only 80 FPS at 1440p, while on OpenGL I'm getting 120 FPS 1440p and more on the same exact area with same settings applied. On desktop the GTX 980 gains about 10-20 FPS when switching from OPENGL to Vulkan so something is definitely not right here.
Does anyone know what would be causing this issue? Or a possible fix for it? Thanks
