Just register to say ‘thank you’ for all the hard work people on the forum have done.
I just completed my setup using late 2015 iMac 5k, Sonnet eGFX Breakaway Box 550, and AMD Radeon Vega Frontier Edition Liquid Cooled.
The OS X High Sierra seems to handle it without any work, or issues.
The Windows 10 on the other hand, was handful. Fortunately I came across the thread about DSDT remapping. I ended up loading it by registry since I already had the Windows on test mode. It is not 100% stable, but enough to get the job done.
I ended up with 3x LG 27UD68 running with Eyefinity. The Vega drives them beautifully at 1080p.
The internal display is pretty much a wash. Makes a good side display if I am so included to remount it (they all are on arms).

@Jyin, you're welcome. Did you want to submit an implementation guide with pics so we can see your gear and other owner's replicate your success? I can also add your DSDT to the DSDT public repository if you submit it.
I am interested in how the Radeon Vega Frontier Edition LC has improved your workflow/gaming.

2015 15" Dell Precision 7510 (Q M1000M) [6th,4C,H] + GTX 1080 Ti @32Gbps-M.2 (ADT-Link R43SG) + Win10 1803 // compares M.2 vs TB3 performance inc unoptimized H-CPU BIOS [build link]
I didn't take any pictures during my build, and I don't want to take it apart to do it now.
I may do it during the take down for my next project (I came across a working Mac Pro 4,1 that I want to try the Vega FE in).
I do have some performance result from Heaven and Dirt Rally. I can't find a way to attach any images/documents however.
It would have been great for us that own an imac 27 late 2015 and are struggling with eGPU under windows.
I'm stuck in DSDT. Could you share your DSDT please?
@pravalorius , for the DSDT override, proceed to:

My 2015 set up was a test bed to see if eGPU was viable, and I took it down almost as soon as I was satisfied with result.
Since then I moved the GPU to Mac Pro, (which was a bust), the to 2017 iMac, (which did not require DSDT)
As I understand it, DSDT is very sensitive to the setup, like RAM, so my copy would only work on my set up anyways.

Sure I'll do it as soon as I get home.
I'm buying a monitor as I red that I must have one to proceed.
Many thanks Nando4
1. Extract http://www.mediafire.com/file/z19yep3qje3qb7l/Apple_2015-27in-iMac-Pravalorius.zip to c:\dsdt
2. Run c:\dsdt\load.bat as administrator to get you to the end of OPTION 1 & continue from there.

I'm getting bsod every time after the load.bat when plug in my egpu
And in device manager I have the large memory input and on memory my radeon M390 under the pcie controller (x16) - 1901
My setup is iMac 5k late 2015 radeon m390, 16gb of ram instead 8gb.
Aorus gaming box 1080 8gb eGPU
Samsung 24 curved external monitor connected to the eGPU.
UPDATE*
IS WORKING
I had troubles loading the dsdt.aml file to Clover in windows.
But i followed https://egpu.io/forums/pc-setup/fix-dsdt-override-to-correct-error-12/#post-1598 and created a clover USB bootloader (maybe not he most elegant solution, but is working)
at last it wasnt working until i used this comand
I can't thank you enough @nando4 i was stuck for a week and with your guidance i was able to fix it.
My Specs are
iMac 17.1 27 in late 2015 5k
16gb ram DDR3 1600
Radeon R9 M390 2gb dGPU (No iGPU)
Aorus gaming box 1080 8gb
Samsung 24in curved Monitor for external
TB3 to TB2 original adapter
Tested on 2 games that i had.
PUBG (Blattle royale FPS)
1920x1080 (Max resolution of my monitor)
ULTRA settings, 90 FPS average
Black desert Online (MMORPG)
1920x1080
ULTRA Settings, SSao, Antialiasing, etc etc 60 FPS avg.
I'll be happy to give more details and add DSDT to the list so more people owning this iMac can make their eGPU work.
(sorry about my English, is not my 1st language)
