iMac 2011 27"
Akitio Node
TB3 to TB2 adapter connect to TB1 port

I've read all the iMac eGPU build guide that is TB1/2to TB3
No one mention about the windows were installed under BIOS or EFI mode.

I've tried:
GT 1030 & Rx580
[no luck in BIOS windows, not detected and black screen]

Keep trying to escape "boot>black screen loop>restart loop" with no brain for >100 times
[no luck in BIOS windows, not detected and black screen]

Wait and plug when windows logo or spinning circle appears
[no luck in BIOS windows, not detected and black screen]

Automate-eGPU.sh
[no luck in BIOS windows, not detected and black screen]

even paid for DIY eGPU setup 1.35
[no luck in BIOS windows, not detected and black screen]

On the other hand in EFI mode Bootcamp Windows,
eGPU works fine, but the windows got stuck with 2.48gb RAM usable issue and no audio (the only problem that I can solved by external DAC)
(64bit windows 10 confirmed, msconfig set/uncheck memory tried, did swap the ram too)

I  think I reach the end of Bootcamp Windows with eGPU.

And even in MacOS High Sierra, yes, it works without any problem.
Just eGPU Rx580 is not helping significantly for my job with video, vector and bitmap editing.
Not even good enough for parallel windows gaming.

I may have to sell my very new eGPU set. So disappointed.
What a waste of time (hundred hours trial and error, countless time to install and remove superdrive under logic board) ...
