I'm using in Windows 10 environment with latest updates, and I have trouble with my new eGPU, Core X Chroma.

The problem is, When I plug my eGPU when the laptop is turned on, Core X chroma makes sounds as if it is working, but nothing changes. I cannot use USB Ports, and also external displays.

but when I plug eGPU with rebooting, it works just fine.

Nobody wants to reboot whenever they need to be plugged. it is quiet annoying.

I feel really stressed out for this problem.

Thank you.

So hot-plugging isn’t working. But otherwise it is working fine.

Which Windows version are you running? v1903? v1909?

Microsoft security updates broke hot-plugging in v1909 and in the latter builds of v1903.

Windows is annoying. 👨‍💻
